TALENTS AND SPECIAL ABILITIES
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]
Americe is a skilled negotiator, skilled fighter (And she'll fight dirty if she has too) gymnastics, being a pick pocket, talking, blending in. She can also drive a stick shift car. As Teyah Malone she can go horseback riding and can fix her own car well at least parts of it.
Americe is known for creating the languages of the world with her father. She destroyed the Tower of Babel on his command and enjoyed doing it. Lawyers and people needing help with words pray to her and Americe graces them with the words the need. She claims that she graced Johnny Cochran more than once and the comment “if the glove doesn't fit, then you must acquit” is her creation. Her favorite person to help is Bill Cosby though he clearly doesn't need her help. Her month is May and Americe is generally over protective and gracious with her talents on those who are born in that month. She inspires people to understand the truth with clear communication.
Skilled in the Occult, Knows every language (dead or current), She has all the names of the prophets burned into her brain. Her favorite languages to speak are Sign, Chinese, Russian and Arabic. Her least favorite thing to do is Lip read.

POWERS AND VULNERABILITIES
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Americe has all the usual angel skills. They are rarely used since she is rogue and she's holding onto them for emergencies. Americe is known as the Interrogator of the Angelic army. She was one of the angels in the White room that would reaffirm the rogues of their position in the Host. When Americe is in her interrogation mode, Americe is known to have a monotone voice and is very fluid in the way she speaks. She normally keeps the pace of being on a boat that is simply rocking on the ocean. Americe's skill is a curse and a gift, though lately she's hasn't been using it. Americe does not like to be touched. She freezes and spazzes when she's touched and when cornered by a demon with no way out she may even meltdown
REPUTATION
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Most of her angel siblings know who she is when they see her, but they can't sense her because of her Ennochian tattoo down her spine shielding her from them. Still as a hunter, Teyah Malone is well known with a skill in killing gollems and ghous. Most Angels are uncertain about where this angelic wildcard is standing (but she's mostly with Castiel even if that means she has to leave her human vessel and return to heaven never to walk with her humans again) Americe is currently hidden from her brother and sisters though thanks to her tattoo on her back and she like it. Some demons are after her to take her back to hell and Americe isn't sure who to trust with her past. Some of her siblings also question her loyalty to Balthazar, even after she learns what he does.
PERSONALITY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]If there has ever been an angel that has a desire to taste revenge, it’s Americe. You don’t walk out of hell with out it tainting something of you. Americe though is generally a rather laid back angel. She loves humanity and how they are always determined to succeed. She enjoys their slang and will use it instead of sounding like an angel. Ten to one, if she likes you she’ll give you a nickname (IE: Castiel would be Sparky, Anna would be Dorothy, Sam would be Samson the Giant, ect). If she doesn’t like you, there’s no nickname or joking with you, plain and simple. She tends to use the following words the most ‘mojo’, ‘dealio’, ‘Carrrots and Apples (instead of okay)’ and ‘dime a dozen.’
She loves to laugh. Most humans find it interesting that she loves to laugh mainly because she seems to be so quiet. Still if something funny happens (and with a brother like Gabriel…when won’t it) she’s the first to laugh. If she can’t find something to laugh at she’ll admit it, with a smile on her face (And its normally a smile that can light up a room).
Americe is loyal. She’ll die before allowing something to happen to her friends or her siblings. If she’s helping a human she tends to do it in secret, mainly because now she doesn’t like attention. Before she was the angel that when given an order by her superiors she would do anything to carry it out. It’s still engrained in her to do that type of action. Americe is considered naïve about her devotion to the human race. She still finds them interesting and ten to one will defend them. They deserve a chance to make choices in her eyes and she will spend hours watching them.
Americe does have a temper though. It comes from when she was imprisoned. She’s trying everything to get it under control but she will blow up when she’s under too much pressure. Lately she’s trying meditation, it’s sorta helping. Before all of this, Americe was naturally curious. She was independent, always willing to help her fellow siblings and just wanted to be involved. Now she wants to stay independent but is also a fighter. She’s suspicious of most of people. Though the one thing that she didn’t loose was the curiosity. She sees the world at times through the eyes of a child and ten to one the most popular question you’ll hear her ask when she finds something new is ‘why?’. Still, there are flickers of the old Americe that comes out of the shell she’s in. On a good day she’s very talkative, always willing to help, and the first to say ‘yes we can do this’. On the bad days, she’s moody, non talkative, harsh, and can use the words she’s normally graceful with as a weapon. She doesn’t like to be touched since her trip to hell though and will give generally one warning before freaking out when you touch her again.
Once you have Americe’s trust, it’s hard to loose it. She still trusts so many of her angel siblings she’s just afraid to talk to them. So if you happen to see Americe spying on you, first be prepared for an earful but secondly be prepared to get through that shell she’s created before she tells you her story. Americe however feels more comfortable with humans currently then her fellow angels and if a doctor was to examine her, they’d probably say the little angel has a case of PTSD.
An interesting note is that Americe will still talk out loud to her father. She normally does it when alone but she fully speaks to him. Americe doesn’t blame him like she does her siblings. She will also light a prayer candle if in a Catholic church for her father.

HISTORY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"] :Angelologist and their angel lore has it wrong when they name Americe. It was a little joke that Americe wanted in there since so many of her siblings seemed to have names that end with 'iel'. In their studies she is Ambriel, Angel of Communications. Her month is that of May and she's known to be very protective over those born in that month. When her siblings ask her why she did something like that Americe merely shrugs and comments “It seemed like a good idea at the time”. In truth, that's not the only stunt that Americe has done in her immortal life. When God her father made her Americe swore he had to throw away the mold that made her, it was cracked beyond repair. When her brother Lucifer rebelled, Americe was tasked with interrogations and finding who was with him after he destroyed Lilith. Fighting never was her strong point, in fact she was reportedly the weakest in the garrison depending on who you asked, because Americe was skilled in just talking people down and getting them to do what she wanted. Whispers of Americe becoming the angel that Lucifer would clearly never be floated around even though she only wanted to learn from her father and never once wanted anything other then knowledge and her father's love.
She loved his humans the minute God created them, in fact she was part of the first group of angels that bowed down to them, and spent hours watching them. Wondering why they did things when they really shouldn't. Making the wheel square instead of circle, though she cheered when they got it right. She wondered why and how Eve got Adam to eat the apple after God told Adam it was forbidden. Why did Cain kill his brother? Why didn't Joseph go back to Egypt to reclaim his family when he was made second in command in Egypt? The term favoritism was tossed around by several of her other siblings as Americe was clearly able to sit around with either father or other siblings (like her beloved brother Ramiel) and watch the humans grow and evolve) That brand of favoritism was further marked on her and God when he apparently made the duckbill platypus for her and allowed her to travel to Earth to whisper it's name in the ear of man.
Her siblings first witnessed her wrath the first time when her father ordered the destruction of the Tower of Babel. She had been easy with her humans, as had her father, gracing them with only one language. Then they began to build the tower believing that if they were able to reach the heavens they could be like God. Angered by their foolish ways, Americe locked herself away with her father and for several heavenly minutes..which in human time was months...created every language for the Earth. Past, present, and future...she is blessed with knowing all of them and being able to use them all when they are called on in time. Her next mission after distributing the languages of the world to the people, confusing them for the rest of time, was to destroy the tower itself. Leading a team of angels with her brother Orion and several others Americe destroyed it to nothing but rubble. She felt joy over doing something her father commanded but at the same time she was saddened that her humans had suffered such a punishment.
Years went by and Americe only dreamed of going down and being among humans. It was a terrible sin to want something so bad but Americe was always willing to dream it. Her closest confident was her brother Ramiel who watched humans with her until the angel of communication was chosen by Uriel personally for a special mission. Quickly, Americe abandoned watching her humans with Ramiel and her other siblings and begun associating herself with the “specialist” (4x01-”Lazrarus Rising”) and learned that her task was to word that rested in the heart of God's loyal. Uriel knew exactly how to string her along but Americe knew that it was important, since Uriel said the task came strictly from God. She was to blend in with her humans and not to expose herself as an angel. Americe found herself in debt to Uriel.
Approved to go to Earth, on her “Special mission” (4x02- “Are you there God, It's me Dean Winchester”), Americe's vessel was a young hunter named Teyah Malone. By no means had Teyah lived an easy life. She had been born into a not so typical family, her father a rabbi at a Messianic Jewish Synagogue and her mother a converted to Judaism from being a lapsed Catholic. Her family came fro a background in survival as well. Teyah was proud of her culture even going so far as being suspended from school due to her writing an article for her school paper against the rights of having a group of Neo Nazis protest on a local college during a lecture about the Holocaust. Her father's parents were both Holocaust survivors so it had offended her. Teyah had grown up listening to their stories, the same stories that sparked her fear of fire and being burned alive, and knew she wouldn't allow people to forget it. So she quickly set out to make sure she'd help the world never forget.
Life was what happened when she was busy making other plans. His name was Gus Yanowitz and they met when Teyah happened upon the missing fact he needed on his hunt involving the deaths of several people at her father's Synagogue. She was only 18 at the time but still, they teamed up (as Teyah was blackmailing him....something the shy and quiet girl normally couldn't believe she was doing) and learned that the creature, a Golem was hunting wanted Nazi war criminals not supposed Holocaust survivors. Tracking the creature from her father's synagogue to it's creator, Teyah was knocked out by Gus (who didn't want her facing the creature alone) and left in the car. When she regained consciousness, she did the stupidest thing ever. She went in after him. Both would tell the story differently afterwards, Gus saying she played a minor role in distracting the Golem's creator while Teyah said she so saved his ass since he was unconscious at the bottom of the stairs. Either way the golem was destroyed when Gus changed the term on it's head from emet(truth/reality) to met (dead), with the assistance of fire and Teyah keeping his creator busy. In the end, Teyah went back to her normal life fearing what was in the dark but armed with Gus phone number in case she needed him.
Normal life meant getting accepted at Grady College and going to get her degree in magazine journalism. It meant that she returned to riding horses and show jumping. It meant she met and became engaged to a fantastic young man named Bradley, a telecommunications major. She exchanged phone calls with Gus even getting together with him for a lunch, that ended badly when he discovered she was engaged and a comment was thrown at her about 'him thinking the smarter girls would remain single.' It hurt of course but then Teyah found out about the ghost in library and quickly called him about it as a peace offering. To her surprise he came and allowed her to hunt it with him. It was like old times really, salting and burning bones. Everything screamed familiar like they were simply meant to do it.
Then Gus offered something Teyah didn't expect. A chance for her to go with him. What she said didn't make any sense. It wasn't what she had always wanted. She didn't want that life, to know what was lurking in the shadows but still she said it. She told him yes. It took her an hour to pack up three duffel bags and write a note that everything else was to go to her parents. Once she was cross state lines, she mailed back the engagement ring knowing that life as a hunter wasn't what she should be doing while planning a wedding or being married. Gus taught her everything she needed to know. Bare knuckle boxing, weapons, everything he knew on the occult she learned, he forced her to learn Latin and memorize the exorcism rites. Teyah called him a slave driver and for her 21st birthday the slave driver took her drinking in the south and got her wasted on Moonshine. He also patched her up afterwards with a carton of Pedilyte. It was through him that she met Duke, who when she was working with either had to Duke as “Duke” And Gus as “My Gus” or both of them as “The Guses”.
Teyah was happy. She enjoyed working with Gus, hunting things, saving people. She knew he'd catch her if she fell. He'd save her no matter what. It came down to same belief on a Halloween night. They always joked that Halloween was slow for them. So they did what they always did when they had slow night. Gus went to visit the ladies and Teyah took a long hot shower before snuggling down to watch some old comedies on her laptop. Instead they found a human head resting on hood of the car, and when both hunters were outside they were nabbed and knocked out. Gus apparently woke first, fought and was injured. He awoke Teyah and untied her and told her to run. Confused, Teyah didn't understand. She refused at first but when he mentioned they were going to kill them then she moved. He got her out a window just as the demons entered and Teyah watched as Gus then shot himself in the head refusing to let them take him alive. Full filling his last wish, she ran. She took the car keys that he had shoved in her pocket along with a note, indicating what he had heard the demons talking about, killing several hunters to revenge a few of their own, and drove to her parents before breaking down in tears.
None of her family really understood and after moving in with her sister and her family, after a fight with her parents over the fact that she slipped out of the house instead of going over college pamphlets and trying to return to her 'normal' life to give Gus the funeral he wanted after she stole his body from the ME's office, she returned to hunting after her niece turned two because she wanted Isabella to have a creature free life. She spoke first with the angel Americe for the first time when she was visiting her sister. Though the angel seemed hesitant, as did Teyah, the request of sticking her arm in the fire place to see if her faith in God would keep her from burning was given and Teyah obliged. She faced her fear that day and soon forgot about the angel until she was nearly gutted by a wendiego when she again was approached by the angel, Americe who quickly took her as her vessel when Teyah consented with the condition that her family would never know. Americe agreed, remembering the way the hunter faced her ultimate fear of burning to death with the fire place. (Teyah Malone's history- Seasons 1-3)
On Earth, Americe slipped into playing the role of undercover angel with ease. She enjoyed being with the humans, yet never forgot her mission. Americe kept Uriel updated on what was going on but never once knew that her brother wasn't delivering those messages to heaven. She even sent messages to Ramiel, telling him that the humans were different then what they had expected. They were better and he NEEDED to be down here with her!(Every time she asked about Uriel about a reply, he said that he was busy with his prophets...foolish and naive Americe believed him since Ramiel was always protective of his prophets) She discovered that she enjoyed the drink Tequila (and that while it was fun to say and drink, it wasn't so fun on the way back up). Her favorite dish was baked chicken with sweet potatoes. Favorite flowers pink roses with blue crazy daises and she even loved and lost a boyfriend with a fiction writer named Darren Anderson. Of course there were the scary moments as well, where Darren and Americe got into a car accident and Uriel attempted to kill the human (Americe now sees this memory as him just playing the role as the protective older brother), or when Americe nearly was exposed to the Malones on Kennedy's birthday as an angel. All the while Americe never learned that Uriel was a traitor and had sided with Lucifer. (4x03-4x06- “In the Beginning”- “Yellow Fever”) Everything she was learning and doing Uriel hoped was going to turn her against the humans. Instead, she loved them even more.
Surprised by Uriel after the Winchesters rose, and stopped, Samhain, Americe learned a dark secret and was given a choice. Join his side, Lucifer's side, or die. Flabbergasted by what her brother was saying. Americe attempted to reason with him. She called him delusional, misguided and told him that she'd never help him, or any of the others that had been idiots to join him. To save her skin, Americe darted under her hotel room's bed (thankful that there were small favors for being slim and small in frame) and when her brother went to kill her she had all ready flown the coop. In order to cover his tracks, and knowing that Americe was too afraid of which angel may be in league with him to question it, decided to inform the rest of the host that her mission had changed to cause her to be gone longer then expected and that he would take proper care of their “Little Sister”.
Americe ran from country to country until she landed in Australia and in the hands of her brother. Anael, the angel of love. Tired of running she confessed her story to him and he agreed to protect her. Placing her in a five star hotel for safe keeping he told her to rest and relax, he'd protect her. So would the rest of the Heavenly Host when they learned of Uriel's betrayal and actions to her. Americe hugged him and thanked him for his help before indulging in life. By nine that evening, Americe had a visitor. Expecting it to be at several angels, including Anael, Americe pulled it open only to be greeted by Uriel. She pleaded but it fell on deaf ears. Expecting him to kill her, Americe was knocked out. She should have taken death under that hotel room bed with the horrors she was about to face next (4x08- “Wishful Thinking”)
When Americe awoke, she found herself in a place no angel ever wanted to be in. Hell and on the rack. She found herself in the hands of Alastair who apparently had been told that she would break easily. Americe figured it was Uriel that had told him and decided then she wouldn't make it easy on him. So after the first beating of where he broke her jaw, the sacred jaw that got her normally into so many problems, Alastair and his associates stepped up their tasks and began other types of torture. There was the feeding her to hell hounds, setting her on fire (The first attempt nearly became the last since they applied too much holy oil and it nearly burned straight through her skin) The joke became that she was a holy lizard since her angelic healing abilities seemed to keep her from dying. Plus any lasting hurts they seemed to heal (Americe swears her vessel's spleen is demonic along with her liver) But she wouldn't break. She wouldn't even cry. Americe would scream, oh she'd scream but there wouldn't be any tears.
Then Alastair found the one torture trick that he knew he couldn't avoid doing. With the help of a simple spell, he was able pull her from her vessel. Americe had to listen as Teyah Malone suffered through the same pain she did before being thrust back into her vessel. That was after of course every demon in the room learned one secret that Americe wasn't going to tell. Her vessel relied deeply on her. Teyah and Americe looked at each other like they were sisters on their journey instead of vessel and angel. So Alastair after discovering that he couldn't break the two of them, farmed it out to other demons trying to see if they had better luck. Some days she'd wake up with no memory of what happened to her other days she'd wake up with bruises and blood just caked to her skin and her head pounding. But all the time, Americe did have the strong satisfaction that she never broke because they kept coming at her.
One demon was Arioch. Unlike the others, he was different. Americe still figured him to be like the others, but he didn't do much torture. He talked. He droned on and on, invading her space that she had set up strictly for herself, touching her when he felt like it and ignoring her when she said leave me alone. She angered him a few time but only once did he carve his mark into her skin. A single “A” behind her ear. Rarely now does she leave it uncovered. Shortly after that she stopped praying that her siblings and father would come to her rescue but decided to start her own escape. So forcing herself to kill her guard after a day of torture, Americe escaped and literally did the only thing she could. She crawled her way out of hell like she was some kind of demon bitch. Finding herself in Clifton New Jersey, Americe was nearly ran over by a cabbie name Hector Surce who took her to the hospital instead of a cheap motel. After being checked out and stealing all of her medical tests, Americe disappeared into the night.
Finding a tattoo parlor Americe designed an Ennochian tattoo of her own, a simple hiding sigil that encompasses her vessels spine. It's sole purpose was to hide her from her siblings. She knew that Uriel was still out there as was Anael and so were so many of their other allies. So Americe had to be just as sneaky as them. The tattoo was painful, the feeling of the needle vibrating off of the bone. While she was getting it Americe fought trying not to cry out in pain or slug the girl, she had paid for it. She wanted it..no Americe needed the tattoo. After seven hours, she was marked with the ability sense her own kind but they couldn't sense her unless they saw her first. Then all bets were off. When she returned to her motel room, Americe barricaded herself behind a row of salt and waited to see if a demon or any of her siblings were coming after her. During that same time, Americe familiarized herself with the one thing that she could hide herself in if things turned really ugly. The Malones. She was able to become Teyah Malone...well a new version of Teyah Malone...at a drop of a hat. But she also was changed. She refused to allow physical contact, unless she started it, she didn't meet some ones eyes, conversations were small if at all and Americe never stayed in one place more then three days. If Uriel and his friends were going to hunt her, they'd have a hard time catching her. But Americe also knows that while she's scared she can't allow Lucifer to win...if she can tame her fears while hiding as her hunter self “Teyah Malone”
