She can bake the absolute best biscotti you have ever tasted. It'll seriously knock your socks off. Eden can stitch just about anything. She often hems and repairs her brother's clothing.
Eden also has an exceptional skill with blades. Thanks to her schooling she can remove organs cleanly without damaging them. She also knows exactly where to cut/maim/shoot/injure someone to inflict the most pain possible without actually killing them. At least for a while. When people say it's a surprise what a person can live through, well, Eden can definitely push that to the limit.

She has a warrant out in connection to an attack on her former boyfriend. There are few who know who she actually is. She works under a pseudonym for her black market deals and is known solely as Awan.
PERSONALITY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]During her moments of clarity, Eden proves herself to be an intelligent, balanced and a well but soft spoken individual. She is calculating and likes to plan out every point and be prepared for any situation that may arise. She hates being surprised and feeling like her back is against the wall. Eden is sweet, thoughtful and can even be funny. She likes her alone time though and there is only one person allowed to bother her, ever.
There is only one person in her life that she can and will ever trust and that is her twin brother, Eli. There has never been a time that they weren't together. She would go above and beyond and do absolutely anything for him. She sees everything as just them. It's Eli and Eden against the world. Always has been, always will be. She sees things happening to him as happening to her as well. Eli is the one person who has always been there for her since day one and she knows he will be with her forever. He is the only person in the world that she truly loves. Above all, Eden needs her brother. They are half of each other and she's always known that. But Eli is Eden's strength. No matter how strong she tries to be in general or for her brother, she is only strong because of him. If something is wrong, he is there to hold her and always makes her feel better.
When the “voices” in her head begin, as they always do, Eden will fight it as best she could. It usually begins with headaches and nightmares at its lowest point but once she gets overwhelmed by things, it’s almost like a whole other side of her takes over. Once she finds a center in her madness, she grows hungry for mayhem and she practically itches for the chance to hurt someone. Half of the reason is because it helps the pain and the voices stop but the other half of her just can't help but love it. If the change in her is quick, it is often very painful and she becomes more violent, unpredictable and blood thirsty.
Eden is generally not simply a killer. She does have some scruples. If she has a list or people/organs that she has to retrieve, if they can live without it, she will often let them. Many times she just enjoys hurting people and seeing the fear in their eyes. The number one reason she does what she does though, is the voices. She learned that causing others harm makes it better. She doesn't know or understand why, just like she doesn't know how or why the voices began in the first place. She often wonders why, not only her, but her brother, too. She often wonders if her mother's stories about them being fathered by an angel were actually true.

HISTORY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Born May 31, 1984 at approximately 11:58pm, Eden was the first of fraternal twins. Her brother, Elijah was born soon after on June 1. Eden was one of those babies that hardly ever cried. All she ever really seemed to need was to be next to her brother. As children, the twins' mother always told them they were special. That they were descended from angels and were destined for greatness. They were raised in Hell's Kitchen, but it was instilled in them to rise up and better than where they come from. That they should prove everyone wrong.
Growing up, she knew she was different in many ways. But the difference that bothered her most was how little she looked like her twin brother. People often didn't believe that they were even siblings let alone twins. This upset Eden and she had a tendency to retreat from people and bury herself in other things like books. This was helpful in only one way. Eden was already smart but her keeping her nose in her schooling helped her to fly through school and eventually graduate early and at the top of her class. She found interest in the field of forensic science. She went thought her schooling for the field and graduated. She was currently working towards her PhD while working as an assistant to the city medical examiner. While in school she met a nice man, Marco and they began dating. Eden was doing well in her job and life. All was right in the world.
That was when the voices started...
She didn't know how or why or if what she heard were even voices at all. It wasn't as if she understood any of it. At first she thought it was some kind of radio interference in her car but then the noise would continue no matter where she went. It was mumbled noise at first and then seemed to be some kind of language but she wasn't even sure of that. It slowly began to drive her mad. Eden eventually went to her brother, the only person she trusted with such a secret, and he was experiencing the same thing. The two decided they needed to find out what was going on.
One night the voices got really bad. She was with her boyfriend, Marco, at his apartment when it happened. It was all Eden could do to sit there and hold her head. It was becoming painful for her. Marco had his hands on her trying to be comforting but she didn't even want that. It was like she could hear what was going through his mind and she hated it. She hated him for it. She threw her arms up and pushed him away, hard. He went flying and fell through their glass coffee table. Eden felt horrible. She knew she was strong and sometimes she couldn't keep a handle on that strength. She then realized, the voices had stopped. All the noise she heard was her lover groaning on the floor. She regained clarity for a few moments, all the while wondering what happened.
She checked on Marco, worried and frantic. She began to call for help when the noise began again. Standing over her boyfriend, she realized that pushing him into the table, hurting him was what made the noises stop. She bent to his side and tested her theory, pressing her hand onto a deep cut on his arm. He cried out in pain and the voices stopped. A ragged breath escaped as she grew afraid. She didn't want to hurt anyone, especially Marco, but it helped the voices. Eden stood over him, her conscience battling within herself. What happened next was all a red blur.
She immediately ran to her brother and told him what happened. Eden knew she would be in trouble with the law and decided she needed to run. She knew she couldn't survive if they sent her to prison. Especially not with her new found condition. After arguing with Eli, they both decided to run together. Eden later discovered that Marco had permanent brain damage and the police were looking for her.
With Eli by her side, they twins wandered the city, staying where they could or wanted. The pair often found themselves squatting in churches, abandoned or otherwise. For some reason it helped to make the noises and voices less bothersome for the two. They knew they needed money and one night the two were approached by a man asking if they were willing to do some unlawful things for a lot of money. This is how the twins got into the black market organ business. The pay was great and the work helped with the voices. When they didn't have work, well, they did whatever they wanted to. There were also plenty of other people who would pay good money for healthy organs. Plus, there plenty of people that they could hurt just because they felt like it.
